Tailor-made energy supply: from households to industry

NotusPid system

Whether the system is used at 500 meters or 8000 meters the construction of the system is identical. Around the borehole an annular 3-dimensional space is created in which the energy exchange takes place.

What is visible on this graphic is that due to the cold water that is returned (cooler compared to the ambient temperature) a process is initiated in the permeable zones whereby warm water flows towards the borehole (while any cold return water goes into the formation) where mixing takes place resulting in the heating of the returned water in the borehole. This process is called convection

The single-hole system is built from a modular system of a central insulated suction pipe leading to the bottom of the borehole. The return pipes are distributed around the suction pipe.
